About Me

Dr. Mahalakshmi Prasad is a Consultant Radiation Oncologist, practicing in Madurai, TamilNadu. She has over 15 years experience in High precision radiation treatment for cancer like IMRT,IGRT, VMAT and RAPID ARC. She introduced Stereotactic Radiotherapy for the first time in entire Tamilnadu government sector in January 2021. She has also undergone specialized training in Interventional radiotherapy from Gemeli university in Italy. She has presented in multiple national and state conferences; she has also served as panelist and chair of scientific sessions in radiation oncology conferences, organized by AROI( Association of Radiation Oncologists of India).
